I guess what I was trying to say is that I believe in the sovereignty of a nation. If a country wants to develop nuclear weapons, they should be able to. It’s like gun ownership. I have the right to own a gun. My neighbor has the same right. But he doesn’t have the right to walk into Walmart and wave that gun around threatening to kill people. When that happens, we’re kind of compelled to intervene. Iran has the right to develop and own nuclear weapons. But Iran’s behavior should compel us to take action in defense of ourselves and our friends. Does that make sense? I’m still finishing my daily coffee regimen.
