Mueller's former assistant says grammatical errors prove leaked questions came from Trump
The Hill ^ | May 1, 2018 | BROOKE SEIPEL

Michael Zeldin, a CNN legal analyst and former assistant to Robert Mueller, said Tuesday he believes President Trump leaked the list of nearly 50 questions the special counsel allegedly wants to ask Trump.

“I think these are notes taken by the recipients of a conversation with Mueller’s office where he outlined broad topics and these guys wrote down questions that they thought these topics may raise,” Zeldin said on CNN's "New Day."

“Because of the way these questions are written ... lawyers wouldn’t write questions this way, in my estimation. Some of the grammar is not even proper," he continued. "So, I don’t see this as a list of written questions that Mueller’s office gave to the president. I think these are more notes that the White House has taken and then they have expanded upon the conversation to write out these as questions.”

Well, cnn and mueller, don’t get much more credible than that. The short answer to all of muellers possible questions, ‘no comment’. Through the lawyer.

I can guarantee you, that if Trump people gave these to the Times, the TIMes would declare who the leaker was.

This would be vintage Trump, if true.

Have we forgotten this epic story from the 2016 campaign? LMAO.

1991 "John Miller" phone interview 'leaked' to the media 25 years later

I disagree with the logic here, because NYT could have mangled actual questions into it's news report, regardless of where the actual questions came from (if they are actual Mueller team proposed questions).

That said, I would not be surprised or disappointed if NYT got this material from Trump's team. The way I see it, the "leak" is certainly not illegal or unethical, witnesses are free to talk about their interactions with investigators and grand juries. It's not a leak at all!

Also, the story and its aftermath will tend to benefit Trump. Looks like Mueller over-reaching, might rekindle the Mueller has a conflict in judging actions taken against his friend Comey so by DOJ regulations must recuse, and numerous other angles.

The New York Slimes knows who gave them the list of questions. Ask them.

Well, isn’t that convenient!

Someone with absolutely no knowledge of the situation says Trump leaked it based on some typos and innuendo.

Hey, CNN- I think that is worth publishing!! (Epic fail)

WTF is this IDIOT Mueller doing? He already knows this collusion story is BS!

Does he know what kind of $hit he'll be in if he charges TRUMP with Obstruction of Justice?

There are so many TRUMP supporters looking at this case, you can't just charge the President with some BS without huge BACKLASH!

No problem, now he'll have to prove it wasn't him in the bizarre PC world the Dems live in.

Would be a real hoot if Rudy or somebody else answered all those questions in an OpEd. Or a combination of OpEd and Trump remarks to the press. Try the case in public.

This list is presented as "comprehensive." Once dealt with, there is nothing left.

See, that’s the thing...most observers buy into the premise that the NYT got the questions from a leaker. But it is equally possible that someone at the NYT made up the questions. Then CNN trots out Mueller’s henchman to throw shade on the President. How convenient and utterly predictable.

Most of my backroom group of Twitter analysts, including lawyers, think the non-legal wording shows this was NOT a Mulehead leak. I doubt it was Trump.

More likely Maggot Haberman of the NYT to avoid talking about Iran.
