Remember with sadness the 5 or more members of the Puerto Rico ANG crew who died when their plane plunged to earth near Savannah today.

Good you had a lot of relax time today because you sure won’t tomorrow. Your Thursdays sound like butt-busters.
It was grocery shopping day here and it was a pretty day for it, though a bit toasty. Still felt good compared to what we’ve been dealing with all Spring.
Oh! There was some excitement this morning while I slept. Hubby came in right after I got up and said, “You won’t believe what was running the cats around the yard this morning.” I freaked out thinking the bobcat was back.
Then he said it HAD to be Dingbat, the wild turkey who spent a couple of weeks living at the house a couple of years ago. LOL! He said there simply couldn’t be two of them with that temperament. That silly bird would come right up to us and this one went up to him this morning.
But I’m furious with him because he DIDN’T grab the camera to get pix!!!!! So many photo ops!!! He said Roxy rubbed up against the bird at one point.
I hope it comes back so I can get pix. I hope it IS Dingbat. That bird was a trip!

Aw, MAN! She was a trip when she was here before. She’d follow us around the yard and she roosted on the gutter over the back porch at night.
I can’t imagine another wild turkey being so tame so this has to be her. I hope she’s still around so I can see her again.

Good evening, Radu!
*HUGS*
It has been a while - I'm doing okay, thanks. I had a fall several weeks ago and thought I had twisted my ankle. It turns out I've been walking on a fractured fibula. I went to my Orthopedist last week and he confirmed hairline fracture. Put me in an Aircast and told me to get compression socks. They're working.

Good evening, Luv!
*HUGS*
It's great to see you this evening! We had our first 90 degree day of the season today, and with it, heat restrictions on the evening train.

I recall you mentioning you’d injured your ankle and had an appointment to have it checked out. Hard to believe you managed to get around so long with that fracture. OUCH!! Glad it’s feeling better now with the Aircast and those socks.

I’d have been out there in a heartbeat as it closed in. It’s flat enough you could see the lightning from far off.
That system will come through here this weekend but will just give us a little rain.
