I think I saw my grass smiling! It was a pretty good rain but just not long enough. Hubby said we got 2/10ths of an inch. Which is 2/10ths of an inch more than we’ve had since mid-December. :)

We got more laughs out of that silly turkey while it was here. And friends who came by freaked out.
There are a lot of wild turkeys around here but they hang together in flocks. This one was solo, like the one today, and wasn’t the slightest bit afraid of us. Today’s turkey walked up to Hubby a few times. It has to be the same bird.

Love it!
We had two very large white turkeys duking it near our house!
We could walk right up to them, and they wouldn’t stop fighting!
They belong to one of our few neighbor’s turkeys that got out of their pens! Those two birds were brothers!
LOL
P.S. I LOVE what you named her!
Does she sill come around?

EEK! I don’t know that I’d want to walk up to turkeys fighting! I hope it wasn’t a real bad spat between them.
I said something about that bird being a real dingbat when she showed up and we decided that would be her name. It fit! LOL
She disappeared after a couple of weeks though I thought I saw her a couple of times in the area. We have no idea if today’s bird is her or another one that’s friendly. Our little Roxy apparently liked it a lot. She’s a small cat and wasn’t the least bit afraid to rub on the bird.
I wish Hubby had woke me up so I could have seen all the goings on ..... and get pix!
