I’ve heard a theory floating around that the increase in instances of skin cancer may be related to the existence of sunscreen, where people who would normally avoid the sun (aka light-skinned people) spend much more time in the sun because they think the sunscreen protects them completely. Don’t know if this has ample evidence to back it up, but it makes sense.
Well...word is people at the equator do NOT get skin cancer at rates of those in North America...Seems Vitamin D probably plays a role. Cover up with sunscreen....block Vitamin D.
