MSNBC anchor Chris Matthews conceded that President Donald Trump and his economic nationalism is wearing surprisingly well with voters and stressed that Trump will be extremely difficult for Democrats to beat in 2020.
When asked about the so-called Trump Show in a Politico interview published on Tuesday, Matthews cited Trumps stable approval and improving ratings and said it is wearing surprisingly well with voters because they like Trumps anti-establishment attitude and dont mind him being wrong on the Matthews said Democrats like Sens. Kamala Harris (D-CA), Sherrod Brown (D-OH), and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) would be good running mates but the party still does not have an obvious contender who can take on Trump in a one-on-one battle in the political arena.
Matthews also argued that Trump has not lowered the heft requirement because even with all of his flaws, the public views him as a leader. Matthews pointed out that Republicans opposed to Trumps economic nationalist platform have mostly fallen in line since Trump got elected and only those who are retiring from Congress have publicly opposed Trump.
Hes the leader. The Republican Partys doing what he said, Matthews said.
As Breitbart News reported, Matthews started warning giddy Democrats to not underestimate Trumps re-election prospects last year.
My point is that you cant beat someone with no one, Matthews said then, pointing out that Democrats will have trouble finding a candidate who will be able to match Trumps formidable skills on the stump and ability to speak directly to blue-collar Americans in a plain-spoken way.

LOL! The Democrats have GREAT VP candidates, but lousy POTUS candidates.
They must have lots of warm buckets of spit.
It doesn’t matter who the Democrats pick in 2020 as their nominee because they’re gonna commit massive vote fraud on an epic scale. You can count on that!
Hmmm, considering that Chris Matthews is usually wrong about pretty much everything, this is almost worrisome.
Isn’t there a song, “but you wear it well”?
Or was that a commercial?
Could it be a line from a Rod Stewart song?
It’s the birth of a conservative labor deal with the result of nearly full employment and more freedoms (e.g., Second Amendment advances: self-defense for all), even for common Americans with the lowest incomes, as long as they avoid vices and simply try to improve their own living conditions.
If Republicans in Congress and elsewhere get even more cohesive in supporting it and supporting the Trump Administration, Democrats won’t be able to beat it in Congress, either. They’ll lose. More jobs and more freedoms at the same time: to use one of the President’s favorite words, “amazing!”
It comes with the much needed stronger national and allied defense. “Amazing!”
And it will work for state governments, too! “Amazing!”
Well said.
Don’t forget G-d. That’s where the blessings come from, you know. Take a really good and objective look at the personalities involved and the situation as a whole. See how fragile and fallible we are? See how things *were* getting? Proper credit where due is of the utmost importance for lasting effect.
Thank you. :-) Please see #10, also. Ever read the biblical story of Nebachudnezzar? Fascinating story, even for nonbelievers, and it’s easy to find on the Net. And yes, it’s very clearly relevant to the political situation.
They did that and then some in 2016 and still lost .
No crap curlock.
Get it passed Congress & have the Supreme Court validate it!
Chrissy is still alive?
Democrats would start printing fake voter IDslike Hillary's "Third party" activistsperhaps printing in Puerto Rico, where fake birth certificates are a cottage industry.
:-/
"My Daddy said Son, you better see the world.
I wouldn't blame you if you wanted to leave.
But remember one thing, don't lose your head ...
... to a woman who'll spend your bread!"
He's referring to Democrats who feel thrills running up & down their leg.
Real Voter ID's get logged into a computer database
If it's fake, you cannot even vote, the computer will not let you lol
If Chris Matthews starts getting a ‘thrill’ running up his leg because of the Donald, he better keep it to himself.
