It’s special counsel & deputy AG who should have their phones & computers tapped. Calling payment to Daniels an “in-kind” campaign contribution was a stretch of the law. These people are making a mockery of the ideals of “justice”.
You don't think they already are? Look, this is nothing more than a game of chicken. Both sides - Trump and plotters - know everything is on the table. What they are maneuvering for is the initial parlay - who moves first?
Trump knows the only answer is a military intervention. Imminent threat to national security, military arrests & tribunals, etc. The plotters are betting on Trump chickening out and letting the existing legal/political processes play out; that's their advantage.
So, both sides wait and play around, avoiding the true clash of titans and putting off confrontation for another day.
