Roseanne Barr Defends Kanye West: People 'do not want to hear the truth'
Fox News ^ | May 4 2018 | Brian Flood

Roseanne Barr is on Kanye West's side.

The outspoken actress took to social media on Thursday to voice her support for one of the points Kanye West has recently made on Twitter about Chicago, the city he is from.

Barr said West is “telling the truth” about Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel’s city.

“Ppl (sic) do not want to hear the truth-that Chicago could be a better city for its citizens, but the establishment is corrupted,” Barr wrote.

The city of Chicago has become known for violence and has earned a reputation as one of America’s most violent cities. President Trump once called the city a “war zone” with “people being shot left and right.”

Last week, West famously tweeted, “Obama was in office for eight years and nothing in Chicago changed.”

Emanuel, who Barr referenced in her tweet, served as Obama’s chief of staff before his tenure as mayor of Chicago. West also tweeted about building houses in Chicago.

West has ignited a firestorm of reactions with recent comments about slavery, Trump, former President Obama and even Harriet Tubman. The controversial comments have created a buzz on Twitter — with fans arguing over his recent state of mind. While the “Roseanne” star has expressed support for West, other celebrities such as singer John Legend have condemned his rhetoric.

““Obama was in office for eight years and nothing in Chicago changed.”

It did...it got worse.

Has the earth stopped spinning out of control?

Is the earth's axis righting itself?

Is the earth returning to its proper orbit?

This brings up a lot of good points.

Have you ever wondered why:

1. If Democrat policies are so favorable to minorities, why did eight years of Obama do nothing for black America?

2. If electing Democrats is the key to Black and other minority achievement, why is it, that so many cities run by Democrats for generations, have some of the worst conditions for the black community?

3. If money is a key answer for schools, why is it, that some of our inner city school systems spend among the highest amounts per capita on K-12 education, but get some of the worst results?

4. If Democrat policies are the answer, why have we seen no results of war on poverty programs etc which are Democrat conceived ideas?

In reality, if Obola had tried to get the black community to elevate their game so to speak, it would have simply fallen on deaf ears...It’s so much easier to get the black community motivated by perpetrating the victim mentality than by getting that community to hold itself accountable for holding each other down and encouraging them to be low information/IQ voters.

Just take a look at inner city high schools...Academic achievement is scoffed and ridiculed as being “too white.” They literally do not allow themselves to ever get ahead....Only and until they start having very open, honest, frank discussions about education, achievement, behavior, attitude, and morals the black youth are condemned to repeat the behavior/mistakes of their predecessors....

I know a lot of successful black males and females and their lives only got better when they joined the Navy and learned a better way of life — For many of them, it was the first time in their lives that they were ever held accountable for their actions and they grew to appreciate it, not resent it and they flourished under the requirement of having more demanded of them.

Last week, West famously tweeted, “Obama was in office for eight years and nothing in Chicago changed.”

But things did change in Chicago during the Obama mal-administration - they got worse. ;-)

As much as I pains me to say this; Roseanne and Kanye are actually engaging in REAL rebellion and REAL courage. You know how the left pretends it’s brave to come out against racism and for being gay etc? No it’s not, it’s what you’re programmed to do as a leftist robot.

“...It’s so much easier to get the black community motivated by perpetrating the victim mentality than by getting that community to hold itself accountable for holding each other down and encouraging them to be low information/IQ voters.”

In many ways they are worse off than they were in 1865.
Then they were ignorant because they had never been allowed an education.
Any black who strove for a better life was celebrated.
I remember college educated blacks from the 1950’s who spoke very proper English, precisely pronouncing each word. Their grammar was impeccable.

Today blacks are ignorant by their own hands.
They celebrate thug rappers, criminal athletes and anyone who “sticks it to whitey”.
They beat down anyone who thinks outside their very narrow view, partly so their own laziness and lack of ambition won’t be shown up.
Easier to hold a community down than raise a few individuals up.

Dr Sowell has been joined by a new generation of black conservatives.
They only need a couple of high profile black figures to join them to start the change.
Lets hope this is the beginning.
