Yes, BarbM, I guess I am not willing, but I take my not willing from my religion, and Gd is even higher to me than the USA. Caring for children and the elderly is according to my religion as if I were praying all day long and in deep devotion to Gd. So if I didnt have small children or helpless mother, I would fight and die for my country. But I do this current work for Gd. Even in the first revolution the women performed these devoted tasks and their men and boys did the actual fighting.
There is no way, when you’re talking about thousands and thousands of people, for everyone to be able to do same thing at the same time.
We must muster our forces as best we can and march off. Some will have to stay behind.
Yaelle,
You sound like a very honorable person. I apologize for being snarky. You are willing to lay down your ego to care for your mom and children. The easy way out would be to grab a gun or a pitch fork and run to D.C.
If there was a gathering in your town at the same time as the one in D.C. would you be able to attend? Due to my husband’s health and raising grandchildren I will not be able to go to D.C. and I am sure many will not be able to. I plan to go to the town nearest to me that has TV stations and stand up and be counted some how some way.
