You couldn't be more wrong.
The city of Seattle and their incompetent city council has been spending hundreds of millions of $$$ over the past 5+ years 'coddling' the homeless.
There are 400+ homeless camps throughout the city, where the vagrants are shooting-up their drugs, committing crime and crapping and pissing all over the place, and the city of Seattle is looking the other way and not allowing the police to enforce the law.
This has FINALLY got the citizens, (even liberals), up in arms and they don't want anymore $$$ wasted on this failed homeless experiment.
Also, there is major corruption in the city council where the 'homeless industrial complex' they've hired to 'solve' the problem is kicking back major $$$ to the council members.
It's corruption at its worst!
Amazon, and other major players, are saying, 'we give enough already, Stop with the taxes already or we're leaving'!
“You couldn’t be more wrong.”
“Amazon, and other major players, are saying, ‘we give enough already, Stop with the taxes already or we’re leaving’!”
LOL! You miss my point, and my theme, which is that we have to play at THEIR LEVEL. So when Reagan proposes increasing the budget for public housing by 4%, rather than the 7% that activists demand, the Democrats SCREAM that Reagan wants to throw people onto the streets.
Similar here. Of course Amazon’s claim is legit, and of course they are ‘donating’ (whether they like it or not) billions to ‘the poor’, but the MOMENT they (Amazon) push back - we need to NAIL THEM TO THE WALL, just as the Left does to us - after all, they own the Washington Post.
Most specifically the self avowed socialist Kshama Sawant, who is also most annoying. Her hubby is on the take via a Clinton-like social justice foundation.
