Federal judge accuses Mueller's team of 'lying,' trying to target Trump: 'C'mon man!'
FOX NEWS ^ | May, 4, 2018 | Jake Gibsom

A federal judge on Friday harshly rebuked Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team during a hearing for ex-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort – suggesting they lied about the scope of the investigation, are seeking “unfettered power” and are more interested in bringing down the president. "You don't really care about Mr. Manafort,” U.S. District Judge T.S. Ellis III told Mueller’s team. “You really care about what information Mr. Manafort can give you to lead you to Mr. Trump and an impeachment, or whatever."

In many offices, lay offs/firings take place on Tuesdays however, today would be a very good day for Herr Muëller and his pal, Roddy Rosenschtein to join the ranks of the unemployed. This would leave Tuesday as be a very good day for charges to be laid against them, IMO.

I'm sick of the faux outrage with zero... I mean zero action.

The only action will come from us, and I think we have waited long enough. When Robert Mueller is afraid to leave his house in the morning this outrage will stop. Not before then.

If the judge really said these things, then I'm wondering if he's losing his marbles. I never heard of a case where the prosecutor was compelled to explain his motivations in filing the charges.

---

Mueller’s team says its authorities are laid out in documents including the August 2017 scope memo – and that some powers are actually secret because they involve ongoing investigations and national security matters that cannot be publicly disclosed.

Ellis seemed amused and not persuaded.

He summed up the Special Counsel’s Office as, "We said this was what [the] investigation was about, but we are not bound by it and we were lying."

Sounds like the judge is pretty sane to question the prosecution unless it is now ok to prosecute someone based on secret evidence. Evidence Mueller won't show the defense attorney.

Rudy made the statement that it’s winding down. Says he doesn’t see how it goes much longer. I pray he’s right, but Mueller’s blank subpoenas request makes it seem unlikely..unless he gets slapped down soon.

If Muller’s corruption is obvious to the judge then shouldn’t it be obvious to Congress?

And given that Congress has the constitutional authority to impeach and remove Muller’s trolls, putting a stop to their mischief, why has Congress not done so?

The problem imo is that we’re still stuck with an anti-Trump, post-17th Amendment (17A) ratification Congress left over from the lawless Obama Administration that is supporting Muller’s Trump witch hunt.

So it’s entirely up to us patriots to exercise our voting muscle and send Trump-supporting patriot candidate lawmakers to DC on election day 2018 that will put a stop to Muller’s anti-Trump agenda.

And until the states wise up and repeal 17A, as evidenced by concerns about the integrity of the outcome of Alabama's and Pennsylvania's special elections, patriot candidates need to win elections by a large enough margin to compensate for possible deep state ballot box fraud, associated MSM scare tactics, and interference from people like Soros.

It’s not any evidence against Manafort that’s secret ... it’s the information in Mueller’s authorization letter. Maybe I’m missing something here?

Toting up the score, the only one we have is McCabe being fired, but that will be disappointing if he doesn’t get indicted.

The one criminal referral the IG made was about McCabe leaking an Obama administration stand down of a Clinton Foundation investigation. It was a leak that was harmful to the Deep State. It wasn't even about what McCabe did to Trump.

So basically we have nothing so far.

Looky here....

Rosenstein botched the Mueller appointment. Wrote "scope" memo months after the appointment to justify targeting of Manafort on non-Russia charges. The whole mess should be thrown out. Manafort would never have been charged but for his association with @realDonaldTrump. https://t.co/5x8flQNqi9— Tom Fitton (@TomFitton) May 4, 2018

I have had enough of the Mueller Meat:
the sausage tastes bad.

Numbers 11:18–20 (LEB):

Sanctify [consecrate] yourselves tomorrow, for you will eat meat because you have wept in the ears of [LORD] Yahweh, saying, “Who will feed us good meat? It was good for us in Egypt.” [LORD] Yahweh will give to you meat, and you will eat. You will eat, not one day, or two days, or five days, or ten days, or twenty days, but for a whole month, until it comes out from your nose and becomes as nausea to you; because you have rejected [LORD] Yahweh, who is in your midst, and you wept before his presence, saying, “Why did we ever leave Egypt?” ’

Manafort’s attys are claiming that these indictments did not emerge from any investigation re collusion. They were old matters from USAs in Virginia 12 years ago. The only reason they are being used today is to force anti Trump testimony from Manafort. The judge wants to see the DoJ order creating the SC because while it might say he can investigate other matters stemming from collusion, it does not say he can seek out other matters from the past, not associated in any way with collusion, and use them as a club to make Manafort a cooperating witness.

I read the complaint that Manafort filed against the special prosecutor’s office, laying out very clearly the violation of law and the constitution that this prosecution is. I wasn’t surprised that a judge in DC didn’t throw it out, but Manafort is very likely to win if it ever gets to the Supreme Court. It is a good read if you want to go find it.

This motion to dismiss is likely based on the same arguments. Based on the judge’s comments, I would not be surprised if he does throw out the prosecution. The appointment violates both the constitution and the law providing for appointment of special prosecutors. When the rule of law applies, those kinds of things matter.
