I think it is very interesting. The Dem candidate will definitely win the election, so he could choose any of the Dems. Why he chooses Feinstein, I’m not sure. Maybe he thinks that it boosts the Dem brand nationwide. Maybe he’s worried about these socialists who are coming up through the ranks. Or maybe he owes Feinstein, though I don’t see how.
