On Friday there was more good economic news as the jobs report showed the unemployment rate dropped to 3.9%, the lowest since 2000. For African Americans and Hispanics, the unemployment rate is now the lowest ever recorded. In April, 164,000 nonfarm jobs were added to payrolls surpassing a 135,000 increase in employment in March. Among the sectors to perform well in April were construction which added 17,000 new jobs and manufacturing employment which surged by 24,000 jobs.
Most analysts believe that the economy is nearing full employment, so it is not surprising that the Economic Cost Index shows wages are increasing at the fastest ratein 11 years. This has not triggered inflationary pressures, as prices only increased 1.9% last month and the Federal Reserve did not increase interest rates.
As the economy does well, incredible progress is also being made with North Korea. A summit is being arranged, American hostages will soon be released and the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has indicated a willingness to give up his nuclear weapons. If the Korean peninsula become a nuclear free zone, retired four-star General Jack Keane believes it “could be the most historic diplomatic achievement since World War II.”
With remarkable progress in both foreign and domestic policy, it is no surprise that President Trump is now enjoying a 51% approval rating, according to Rasmussen Reports, several points higher than former President Obama at this point in his first term.
While more Americans show appreciation for President Trump, it has not impacted the liberal media. For the Trump haters on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS and NBC, these good news stories are only momentary distractions from their most significant issues: Special Counsel Robert Mueller, Stormy Daniels and Impeachment.
This week, the media went into overdrive when the President’s new attorney, Rudy Giuliani, reported that attorney Michael Cohen was reimbursed for his $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels. Even though the President claimed that the money paid to Cohen was from his personal account, and not campaign related, the talking heads were not restrained from reporting that the President is in tremendous legal jeopardy.
Giuliani also predicted that there is a 50% chance the President will be subpoenaed by Special Counsel Mueller even though there is still no evidence of Russian collusion or obstruction of justice. This week, a list of 49 potential questions that Mueller could ask President Trump was leaked to the media, along with reports that the Special Counsel’s office is looking at Trump confidante Roger Stone as a subject of their investigation.
While the Special Counsel’s office furiously leaks and works non-stop to destroy President Donald Trump, the media is only too willing to assist. In fact, in aFridaymorning press briefing as he was about to board Marine One, the President blasted the media for focusing on the Mueller investigation “all the time, that's all you want to talk about.”
Fortunately, the American people are starting to realize that the Mueller probe is nothing but a witch hunt. In an April Rasmussen Reports poll, only 46% of Americans believed that the Special Counsel investigation was an “honest attempt to determine criminal wrongdoing.” This is a decrease of 6% from October, when 52% supported Mueller’s investigation.
With an out of control Special Counsel and a public becoming more disgruntled, one Congressman finally decided to act.On Thursday, U.S. Representative Todd Rokita (R-IN) introduced a resolution calling for the Mueller investigation to endwithin 30 daysunless evidence of Russian collusion is introduced. According to Rokita, he proposed the resolution to “preserve the integrity of our democratic institutions.”
Rokita is disturbed by both the scope and the $17 million cost of the Mueller investigation. He believes it is “an attempt by the Washington elite to destroy President Trump.” However, it is also an unprecedented political and legal assault on the 63 million Americans who voted for Donald Trump on November 8, 2016. The Special Counsel and his team of partisan Democrat attorneys are attempting to overturn the results of the last election, and enact, in essence, the first political coup d’état in American history.
In this toxic environment, it is amazing that the President is able to provide positive leadership on both the economy and national security issues like North Korea. As the approval ratings indicate, this progress is being recognized by an increasing number of Americans.
The best efforts of the media, the Democrats, the Deep State and the Mueller team appear to be failing. No wonder all of these groups have such hatred for Donald Trump.
What do we get for $17 million? Lying prosecutors and disgraced DOJ/FBI, coerced convictions that should be overturned or pardoned, and thumb in our eyes as government proves it can do what it wants, destroy anyone.
Yup.
The President should tell Mueller to put up or shut up.
Unless Mueller has evidence the President committed a crime, he shouldn’t go fishing for one.
He needs to wrap it up so the President can continue his work for the good of the country,
If that upsets the Democrats and the fake news media, so be it.

So obvious. I would think a good prosecutor would have wanted to question Trump day one. Since none of their other “witnesses” bore fruit, they try to set up Trump.
Frau Mueller is now in very deep trouble as of today with the Federal judge’s ruling and proclamation today. He should have heeded Guiliani’s very public rebuke that he delivered on Hannity. Now he is going to reap the whirlwind.

So now they’re down to “well well well...he banged a porn star 12 years ago!”
Nobody cares.
Each morning, the demented denizens of the left up with the perverted hope that THIS will be the day Trump finally gets the comeuppance they think he deserves. Yet, the Mueller-Rosenstein gang fails to make good on that goal... and that just enraged them yet more.
The facts don’t matter. They just need to keep up a negative drumbeat so the libs can continue to dismiss Trump out-of-hand.

Exactly. I asked my idiot brother the other day if, even though he detests Trump, he didn’t see the basic unfairness of going after someone day after day with absolutely no sign of a crime. His answer? “No, because Trump deserves it!”.

Step 1:
Shut it down. Fire them. All of them. Let the RATS rant. They rant anyway, so who cares? Challenge those corrupt bastards in Congress to impeach a President with > 50% approval rating. Tell the F.B.I. they’re out of business. They’ve grown into America’s version of the KGB and they’re clearly more interested in unseating a democratically elected President than they are in, you know, up-holding truth, justice and the American way. If that can’t be done, fire them. All of them. Enough of this “there are fine people!” BS. Fine people don’t put up with their superiors trying to overthrow the President of the United States.
Step 2:
Let the REAL Americans know that there’s some justice left in this country by holding people to account. And that means PUT THEM IN JAIL. It doesn’t matter how powerful they are or think they are. If they broke the law they need to be treated like the rest of we-the-people and put in jail. It’s absolutely unacceptable that Hillary gets off because didn’t “intend” to break the law. That wouldn’t work for you or me if we didn’t notice a “stop” sign, would it?

He’s not going to do that voluntarily! The sad truth of the matter is that it’s the Republican-”led” Congress who are failing to act here. They want Trump gone more than the RATs do. Trump has succeeded in disrupting the “natural order” of things for the GOPE and thus they are doing everything they can to insure his early departure. They, at the minimum want to see a President Pence, who would be their anointed “limp d!ck,” ineffective “standard issue” Republican President who would not interfere with their financial benefactors ability to continue to make inordinate sums of money at the expense of the citizens of this country. To get rid of Mueller, you have to get rid of McConnell and Ryan first. I will bet you that Mueller will still be in business in November.

Your predictions assumes everything will continue as it has been. The problem with trying to predict the future is that there are just too many variables. Almost all of them unknown.
Muller intent may very well be to keep the investigation open until the Mid Term elections, but the real world has ways of altering events.
So far the Mueller investigation has done more harm to the Clinton, the DOJ and the FBI then it has done to President Trump. While a distraction, President Trump keeps pushing his agenda winning most battles with the left.
Add to that we really don’t know what is going on behind the scenes. We don’t know what if anything Session may have been doing. We don’t know just how much President Trump knows about the attempted Coup. Nor do we know what his plans are to deal with this mess Hillary and Obama created.
At this time we just need to trust President Trump knows what he is doing.

No question! And I am hopeful that he will be able to “break out” of this huge impediment to his otherwise singularly successful Presidency. But since the RATs and RINOs and their Deep State “operators” know that their possibility if success is fast fading, their final push will be at a level of viciousness and lawlessness we’ve probably never experienced, every. I never thought I’d ever see my country try to be a “banana republic,” but we’re there today.
