Nearly two years ago, the British people voted for Brexit. They rejected the arguments of the political, business, academic and media establishment, which were united in their support for the European Union and its elitist agenda that favors the rich. Instead, voters chose populism, voting for Britain to become a self-governing, independent nation outside the EU.
You can say they were wrong; you can lament their decision. But you can’t deny the facts of what happened.
But guess what? Denying the facts is exactly what the elitists are trying to do.
Right now, the political debate in the United Kingdom is about whether, after Brexit, the UK should ... kinda, sorta, stay in the EU really. Or whether in fact there needs to be a second referendum. Because, you know, the people got it wrong the first time.
Well, I suppose the Brits should be thankful for small mercies. At least in the UK they’re talking about a second vote.
Nothing so democratic is happening in the equivalent situation here in America, as the establishment seeks to overturn the outcome of the 2016 presidential election. But how can that happen? In the U.S., the chosen path to remove President Trump from office has become the Russia probe led by Special Counsel Robert Mueller and its tabloid offshoot, the Stormy Daniels imbroglio.
The elitists in Washington (including – frighteningly – current and former leadership in our law enforcement and security bureaucracy) are monumentally aggrieved that the people had the temerity to elect a populist outsider to the White House. And they’re not prepared to wait for the 2020 election to try to replace populist Donald Trump.
That’s why this week I described the Mueller probe as a political counter-revolution.

I think the OIG report needs to be released in some form despite the continuing investigation. The OIG report may be what some hope for or it may be less than what some hope for, but at this point it appears to be the most unbiased look at what occurred that undeniably formed the underpinnings of the SC and the controversy. It will involve the players who opposed or still oppose the President and given the small section regarding McCabe, it may undermine the public narrative in a very big way. If it includes what many of us expect from what we have pieced together, it may turn the narrative upside down. Notice how McCabe has pretty much disappeared?
The majority of Americans, regardless of politics, have an innate sense of fairness and distrust of absolute power. I wish they would release the report in a segmented fashion and congress should begin demanding this if there are further delays. The fact that they continue to uncover new relevant information will never change because it is so involved so call it a preliminary report and continue the investigation towards a final report.

Our Founding Fathers would have been blown away by the turnout, but appalled by our lack of “engagement.” A change in tactics just might tip the scales this time.

Yes, it does seem that way... but we have the best system of government in the world to deal with traitors. Our founding fathers anticipated traitors. We can use the laws on the books to stop the coup and punish the traitors.

How many conservative groups did the FBI target - how many Muslim groups - how many liberal groups? How many agents, how much time, how many resources.
Its time we got to the truth. Were agents in the FBI and CIA traitors working to overthrow our two party system?
Was the FBI and CIA working for white liberal elites like the Clintons - and NOT for the country? We have a right to know what we're dealing with - how high it goes - and who was in charge of the changes.
