Television is the problem. The “news” is simplistic, partly because it is geared toward the entertainment seekers. That simplicity also allows for an easy perpetuation of lies, agenda and brainwashing.

I haven’t watched television news in many years. When I do get a glimpse now and then I find it so shallow as to be offensive.

Right on. For those who have not been away from TV, they don’t know how low it is. I cannot really even watch a newscast anymore. Even my best friend, a very good committed Christian man, confronts me with SNL parodies every Sunday, like it is news.

Read, read, read. Read your views and opposing views, you will be much better off.
