John McCain, who has been battling an aggressive form of brain cancer for more than a year, doesn’t want President Trump to attend his funeral and prefers Vice President Pence to be there, according to a New York Times report.

In addition, former Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama have been asked to deliver eulogies at McCain's funeral, sources close to both former presidents and McCain told CNN.

“No member of the Trump administration should attend”

Given the divisiveness of the request on attendees, if George W Bush had any dignity he should have privately declined speaking or certainly declined after what has currently transpired.

I seem to recall before the 2000 primary there was a robocall that was unfair but benefitted Bush at McCain’s expense. McCain complained about it. But I guess since both are part of the establishment, all is forgiven.

McCain’s book detailing that he should have made Lieberman his running make makes McCain look bad both ways. One, his original decision was based on politics not principles. Two, by noting his regret, he threw Palin under the bus despite her hard work and future support in future Senate primaries.

The country would have been better served had there been a court marshal trial after the prisonors came back.

I wish Pence would tell him, “Sorry John but my scheduled it booked for the next 12 months except for first thing in the morning. Can we plant you by 8 AM? That way I can still make my tee time.

Neither should go.

I am sure they can find better things to.

Most people make peace with others before they die, but McCain continues his hostility.

If Donald is not good enough for John McCain, neither is our vice head-of-state. I don’t think I’ll go to it, either. /s

What a nasty, prideful sinner this man is. One would think he would be more concerned with the state of his soul than worrying about the “pettiness” of who should attend his funeral services. Hey John, he who does not hunger for God, means that his soul is sick and empty!

For this, and all the rest, President Trump should take a dook on McStain’s grave.

There is nothing left of McCain except malice and malignancy.

Anyone who attends McPain’s funeral is suspect.

On his freakin death bed he is still going on about politics. I hope that when I’m on my death bed that I’m surrounded by family and friends and memories. Only a small, petty, person with no family or friends would yammer on about politics on their deathbed. I had hoped that McCain was better than a democrat but now we know. God Bless him and ease his heart.

Somehow, McCain views himself as some sort of important, esteemed head of state like Nelson Mandela and expects to get an extravagant state funeral attended by leaders from all over the world to pay last respects

Not sure that wish is going to granted, especially if he snubs Trump

Pence should not go. It will hurt Pence with conservatives if he attends
a funeral of a man that snubbed his boss, Trump.
The images will be terrible for Pence.

at least they are already planning a funeral.

Part of the planning should involve selling tickets to the piss on his grave line.

Proceeds to go to a worthy cause, such as the ASA Vet Asian Vacation Foundation.
