“who do we want in the Indiana primary?”
Good question, I’ve read that Donnelly is more conservative than either of the Republicans running.
“Ive read that Donnelly is more conservative than either of the Republicans running.”
Well, you’ve read some junk then. There are three Republicans running for the U.S. Senate from Indiana, and all three are far more conservative than that liberal Democrat faux-conservative Joe Donnelly. Donnelly votes with the liberals every day and twice on Sunday, except for a handful of votes on which Chuck Schumer gives him permission to vote with the Republicans because his vote wouldn’t make a difference. And if Indianans are dumb enough to reelect him ... watch out! He’ll tack even harder left knowing that he won’t face the voters for another 6 years and that he already got away with a liberal voting record once before.
As for which Republican to support in the primary, none are perfect, but any of the three would be acceptable in the Senate. I would prefer the candidate with the best chance of beating Donnelly in the general, so, based on what I know about the candidates and of the Indiana electorate, I would rank them Messer #1, Rokita #2 and Braun #3.
