If you read the story in the NY-er you’ll see he slapped her so hard he likely broke her ear drum, and then laid on top of her and choked her - and that was just one night.
Although, spanking without permission can also be physical abuse.
But, what’s a little hitting and chokin when yer man’s in the mood, eh?
At least one of the women did not go to the police because she thought he was a good attorney general getting things done. That is a mindset I do not understand. Politics over personal safety
