She is far more AMERICAN than many living here, in this nation, who believe in calling themselves “AMERICANS”
Unlike others, she loves this country and its people. She displays this every day by voice and actions. Seriously doubt we would ever hear these words coming from HER mouth:
“All this for a damn flag.”
In other words, she feels our pain when we hurt. She rejoices when we are victorious. That makes her a true AMERICAN.
I must have overlooked that part of the Constitution regarding country of birth for First Ladies... I mean after all, if a native born Kenyan can be ‘president’ who is keeping score??????
Right you are, V. K. A quiet but expressive dignity about this woman. Any nation would be proud to have her as their First Lady.
But I like the way you put it... she is responsive to the feelings of average everyday people.
