Maybe they invited him to give the students a shock treatment - of seeing Evil up close

Not wishing any of them ill, but I do think they should get their lives together.

Probably Jimmeh’s only good contribution will have been supporting Habitat for Humanity, which isn’t a great program, but has actually built a number of houses and makes people and businesses that support it feel that they’re doing something to remedy the dysfunctional economy that Jimmeh and the left tried to build.

I still remember him coming out in his sweater and telling us to turn down our thermostats. He was living in the White House.

I was living in a totally frigid place in the Midwest at that time where we had a coal-fired furnace, and it was impossible to get fuel so we actually used to go out and pick up coal along the railroad tracks just to keep the kids from freezing.

Liberty is to me no longer a refuge in academia for Christian conservatives. I have them off my “like” list of American institutions.

I still remember election night in 1980 when Reagan removed this turd from the WH punch-bowl.

Watching the lefty news anchors faces turn to ash was totally cool.

Very strange moment. I voted for Reagan although I didn’t like him a lot because I thought he was a phony. He wasn’t, and we learned that.

I actually didn’t vote for Carter in the prior election because I had just moved to that state - but otherwise I would have, because he was an Evangelical and I thought he was the more conservative. However, he turned out to be a lefty Evangelical weakling and plunged this country into one of our worst (but least recognized) recessions ever.

That’s an incredibly stupid and asinine position to take. Liberty was where President Trump was invited and gave his first commencement speech. Jerry Jr. Has been incredibly supportive of President Trump and frequently goes on the TV circuit to combat the media slurs. There are a lot of things that Jerry Jr. Probably disagrees with Jimah on, but Jimah is an old man now and has done good work with habitat for humanity. To write off one of the only educational institutions that supports a Christian worldview because they invited someone from the opposite side of the aisle is just dumb. Jerry Sr. Invited Ted Kennedy. The school let Connie Bernie speak during the campaign. Conservatives are (and should be) strong enough to deal with opposing worldviews without playing snowflake Berkeley games.

Understood. Yes indeed. Habitat for Humanity has built some houses, so that’s probably a good thing.
Other than that, Carter is a pretty total Negative in American history (and yes, he screwed the economy badly, too, and that caused a great many Americans a lot of hardship)

It is as plain as the nose on my face, you cannot be for Liberty and freedom, and belong to the Democrat party, or support them.
They are the party of murder, and regressive chains of government control. There is no middle ground as long as they support murder of innocents. Anyone who thinks so is lying to themselves.

Uh, really? This shows how liberals really are psychopaths. They put on whatever face they need to and convince their prey to let down their guard.

Are they out of their minds inviting this evil, antisemitic, pseudo "christian", FAILED president to address the graduating class?

What's the title of his space going to be:

"How to Hate America, Conservatives, Christians, Israel, and the Jews While Cow Towing to, and Supporting America's Enemies at Home and Abroad."

Having lived through it, apart from Obomination, Carter was THE WORST PRESIDENT IN THE HISTORY OF THE UNITED STATES!
