ANKARA (Reuters) - Iran’s foreign minister said on Thursday U.S. demands to change its 2015 nuclear agreement with world powers were unacceptable as a deadline set by President Donald Trump for Europeans to “fix” the deal loomed.

[snip]“Iran will not renegotiate what was agreed years ago and has been implemented,” Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said in a video message posted on YouTube.

The Ayatollah Ali Khamanei still calls for "death to Americans" while demanding we stay in the Obama Nuclear Deal.

While Shep Smith moans and groans with the rest of the conjone-less cowards...Let us all phrase President Donald Trump for standing his/our ground for a rotten, one-sided deal....

If Trump pushes them too hard, they may continue to develop nukes while no longer pretending that they’re not. The horror.

Yup. Sounds like PDJT will have to rethink this. Or not.

Iran will stay in the deal, which is great for them.

That’s exactly why we pulled out of the deal.

Iran would never have agreed to changes to strengthen it from our point of view.

No deal is far better than remaining a party to a bad deal.

And we will kneecap them and Russia by simply drilling more and bankrupting their puny One Trick Pony economies...

Al-Reuters put their best Iranian correspondent on it. I'm afraid, though, that she's just a little late.

Absent in all of these stories is the reason it was such a lousy deal, and I notice that nobody is asking. It's that independent inspectors weren't allowed. In all such agreements, no inspectors, no enforcement, no deal. The EU is perfectly capable of pretending otherwise, but it's only a pretense. And Iran won't renegotiate that part.

Iran’s foreign minister said on Thursday

Out of date.

Here today spin from Iran

Iran says there’s a ‘short time’ to negotiate with countries remaining in nuclear deal after U.S. withdraws

RE: If Trump pushes them too hard, they may continue to develop nukes while no longer pretending that they’re not.

Either way, the result is the same -— THEY ARE DEVELOPING NUKES.

Might as well call a spade a spade.

Am I correct when I say that Iran never signed this “deal” and Congress never approved it? Obama and Kerry were on a frolic of their own.

Thank God we have a President and administration that’s serious about long-term nuclear nonproliferation in the Middle East, and the unwavering commitment to the future security and sovereignty of the Israeli State. A secondary benefit is that this action should reinforce in Kim Jong Un’s mind that President Trump means exactly what he says. Unlike his predecessors, he’s not a President who’s given to equivocation or acquiescence.

Obama’s Iranian nuclear “deal” was the foreign policy equivalent of the one-day rental of four street-legal used tires, in order to pass a state vehicle inspection — a common practice in the hood, with which he’s no doubt familiar.

Oh, and someone needs to go change Shepard Smith’s Underoos because he’s acting as though he just soiled himself.

Gonna be some out of work North Koreans soon.

Just sayin...

It’s time to take Iran to task.

The deal was foolish from the get-go.

Kerry should be strapped to the first missile used on Iran, ala Slim Pickens.

I think that was the point. Remove the cover. They are producing nukes, but not just nukes:

Nuclear Subs
Aircraft Carrier

And it appears the people doing the work are tied to members of Congress, plus the Eurotrash.

I remember Iran at the time saying it was only binding on the other signatories, not on Iran.

IMO, Iran’s actions now reflect a lesson it learned from the Bush administration. They could train and arm terrorists and send them into Iraq with impunity.

Iran thinks it is safe from retaliation.

Israel, and if need be the U. S. will clear that up for Iran if need be.

If it does take place, it will be lightening fast and devastating in it’s scope. Nobody wants an extended confrontation with Iran, but they’re not going to let it dictate the dynamics of the Middle East either.

Iran has been arming Hezbollah since the 1980s, perhaps late 70s.

Carter sure worked his magic. He destabilized the region for the worse and nearly 40 years later, we’re having to deal with it.
