House Republicans are again battling with the Justice Department over information related to the Russia investigation, this time over documents the intelligence community said involves a top-secret source who has provided information to the CIA and FBI.
The mysterious source has also gathered information that was given to Special Counsel Robert Mueller as part of his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, according to The Washington Post.
WaPo reported Justice Department and intelligence community officials issued a stark warning to the White House on May 2 against a request from House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes. Nunes had submitted a subpoena to the Justice Department on April 24 for records related to the Russia probe.
Justice Department and intelligence community officials argued to White House Chief of Staff John Kelly that complying with the subpoena would reveal the identity of a top-secret source and would undermine protocol regarding intelligence sources, according to WaPo.

I thought I read in another piece that they didn't tell Trump what the context was. They just told him Congress wants to expose an intelligence asset. They didn't tell him this is in the context of Congress trying to find the source of the Russian Collusion hoax.

Everything points to Britain. The head of GCHQ resigning upon Trump's election. The entire thing looks like an intel op mounted against Papadopoulos and Page.
The British establishment is anti-Brexit, pro-socialist, pro-EU, pro-changing London from an English city to a Muslim city and capital of rich global oligarchy. They knew Hillary would win and were just trying to do her favors in order to collect chits. They are in it to loot Britain just like our own elites are looting America through massive debt, free trade deindustrialization and massive third-world immigration for cheap labor.
They are trying to sweep it under the rug now so as not to damage their position. Sometimes it isn't China or Russia, but our closest friends who are the greatest danger to our ability to govern ourselves free of foreign domination.
I wonder how this “secret source” will hold up given what the constitution has to say about prosecution for treason:
“No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.” I don’t think secret sources play well in open court.
Other secret documents were strapped to her thighs. No one noticed the difference in thickness from her usual pantsuit girth (between an oak tree and a sequoia). Got away with it.

It’s not the “evidence,” it’s the identity of the source that IG Horowitz and Prosecutor Huber are not prepared to disclose ... yet. But, on the basis of what Brennan, Clapper, and Comey are already on the public record as having said, the secret source might well be them.
A lot of these lines of inquiry and speculation simply amount to Democratic lawyers churning the waters in their continual effort to divine who knows what about whom, and whether and to what extent their clients might be implicated and/or guilty of criminal acts and/or sedition.
The more those Spawn of Satan can gleen ahead of time, the better prepared they’ll be to lie on their clients’ behalf when, not if, the time comes.
The Justice Department is accountable to Congress. It was created by an Act of Congress, and is not listed as a necessary Cabinet department in the Constitution.

IMO, Congress loses their rights to see the documents until they can be trusted not to leak the information to the press.
Was it not also the Brits who were behind creating the Federal Reserve (Rothchilds) and undermining U.S. sovereignty over our currency? Seems like the “old world” still has not learnt the lesson. Too bad the Soviets did not nuke them out of existence during the cold war. Europe is not and never will be our friends. I consider the entirety of Europe an enemy of freedom, and the mortal enemy of every American. “Special relationship” my ass - nothing has ever changed.
Do you trust Mueller’s team with anything, after what they have done? Are they accountable? And we are still trying to find out what they have done.

Yes. And if you recall after finalizing their Trump Russia collusion investigation, the House Intelligence Oversight Committee said it was going to focus on the State Department and their involvement.
Could even be Brennan who was the American ‘source’ shuttling info from the Brit cabal into the CIA and FBI.
That would explain the desperation of the swamp to conceal his role.
