New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy (D) signed a bill Wednesday that allows New Jersey college students who are in the country illegally to obtain financial aid for their education, several news outlets reported.

Murphy called the United States the "world's melting pot" where people come "in the hope of a new life," when he signed the legislation at Rutgers-Newark, according to NJ.com.

The bill's sponsor, State Senator Teresa Ruiz (D-Newark), praised Murphy's move, saying that the Garden State prides itself in investing in "all of our students throughout their K-12 academic careers."

She said it is not right to limit that prospect for DREAMers

Picture and finger print vote ID cards, provided by the FEDRAL Government would make the Democrats a permanent minority party and return New Jersey to free and fair elections.

I wonder how those citizens who are still paying off their student loans years after graduation feel about this?

Let the state spend its money on the financial aid, then ICE can bust the “students” in the middle of class and drag them out.

See who laughs then.

Liberal... with other people’s money...

But again - the total mental disconnect between LEGAL and ILLEGAL.

Why would we reward those here illegally (even if you put the blame on their parents)? There are hundreds of thousands/millions of people who would LOVE to come to the USA to learn, live, and be productive CITIZENS - who go through the process (if they can), they wait in the lines. They get the appropriate visas... they may or may not ever make it here. Yet many of these are the very immigrants that would be an asset to the nation.

But no - lets reward those who cut in line, who skirt the system, who literally violate many laws just to come here and sadly too often, are less than contributors ultimately. Sure there are those who say if they were made legal (amnesty) they could “come out of the closet” and be taxpaying folks. Maybe, maybe not. But again- why not do it the legal way? Because you do not respect the laws of the land where you have chosen to invade.

Murphy - another Goldman airhead who bought himself a governorship like Corzine.

Some thoughts:

1) Progressives in the majority always get the government they deserve and ultimately reap the consequences.
2) Apparently a majority of the citizens of New Jersey approve of the level of taxation and the continued expansion of government spending since they keep voting for a Democrat majority in the state legislature and have elected a Democrat governor.
3) Too many people who disapprove of the liberal policies in states like New Jersey move to conservative states and support the same policies they fled.
4) Stupid is forever.
