America’s colleges and universities have descended into madness, but just when you think they can’t sink any lower, they surprise you – they haven’t reached bottom yet.
The latest example comes from the State University of New York at Oswego where a conservative student has been reprimanded by a campus administrator for publicly describing what it is like to be a Republican on the overwhelmingly liberal campus.
Her “uncomfortable” speech during an open-mic event in April, she was told, “deeply hurt” students who took offense at her take on liberal intolerance and filed complaints, reported Campus Reform.
Nicole Miller, a third-year marketing major at the college, read a letter she had composed during an event at the campus Lifestyle Center, echoing complaints being voiced by conservative students across the country.
“I’ve been on this campus for almost three years now and let me tell you it’s been hard to show my beliefs here,” she said. “I’ve heard horror stories from other conservatives on this campus about the brutal mental and emotional attacks on them. I’ve had them myself. It sickens me to death that the people that preach tolerance and acceptance of all people are so openly against us and our beliefs.
“I’ve heard many stories from others like me who were attacked for their beliefs. People had their personal property destroyed, their own lives threatened, and administration has done nothing because [we’re] ‘Trump lovers.’

For the last 2.5 years of grad school, I would get approached or congratulated on that speech at least 3-4 times per month, including by people who were not in that lecture hall.
I can only imagine how much worse campuses are today, and the challenges that face Conservative students... but there are benefits to intelligently standing up.
So freakin’ off the wall, it is hard to find words.

Face it if you don’t goose step with the National socialists they have no limits they no level they won’t sink to. Look at their previous attempt at world conquest. Some racist leaders like Hitler and Mousalini thought genocide was the way to go. Now our universities/colleges are promoting this belief under anew name “Progressivism”.

I finished getting my degree late in life. At 40, I had a bit of life experience. When the History teacher tried to tell the class that Nixon was responsible for getting us into the Vietnam War, I pointed out that he was elected in ‘68 and Americans were in Nam in early 60s, under Kennedy. The teacher quickly shrugged it off and moved on to other things, dragging the students’ minds away with a question on a different topic but, boom, there went my 4.0 average, my position on the Dean’s list, my use of the computer room and other advantages. Not a thing I could do about it, either. You can’t fight Socialism where it breeds. The best thing is to gas the whole nest...

I would have told the admins that any further harassment could result in legal action. This is a public university.
I spent a couple of years there way back during my undergraduate days.
I will not be sending the college any additional donations.
She should file complaints against radical leftist open mic speakers for attempting to overthrow the US Government.

We are now the radicals, fighting the entrenched proggie/cultural Marxist establishments (government, schools, press, media, businesses and many churches) that seek to mentally and socially enslave us.

The Rules:
1. Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have.
2. Never go outside the expertise of your people.
3. Whenever possible go outside the expertise of the enemy.
4. Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.
5. Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.
Still having difficulty forming the right words about this. Something along the line of ‘one day these people are going to face a reality they can’t scream away. It’s gonna hit them so hard they will have mental breakdowns.’
I hope I live long enough to see it happen.
Tolerance will not be tolerated.

So what did the liberals do? Yup- became intolerant of her views and punished her- proving her point

Yeah, I remember that nonsense from sociology classes (back then it was mostly restricted to the social sciences and hadn’t metastasized to so many other disciplines yet).
All you need to do to invalidate it is say “I hold the viewpoint that my viewpoint is more valid than any other”. They can’t say that you’re wrong, or they would have to admit their “all viewpoints are equal” proposition is incorrect. If they say you are right, then their proposition is also incorrect.
