Read the editorial this morning. Still grinding on this one. My thoughts led me to seek someone who “is a US citizen” and did service overseas BUT also might be a “foreigner” who is also a citizen? Can’t come up yet with a candidate.

That’s one question, but the other is this story another fabrication by the Deepers, Left, Democrats to try to prevent Congress (Nunes) from blowing their scheme to force out President Trump?

WaPo,DC,and WSJ all saying that Trump agreed with the spooks that revealing the name would be some kind of security problem. The only related Trump tweet I can find was about a week ago when he said they are redacting too much.

More likely Kelley spun it to Trump in such a way as to minimize the implications. Of having a spy in his campaign.
Look for Kelley to get fired if that is the case.
Once Nunes learns the details, I’d bet he heads straight to the WH to meet 1 on 1 with Trump.

They have full access to all of our information so court orders and search warrants aren’t needed.
They are also immune and not doing anything illegal. They are covered by agreements and aren’t allowed to be named.
So Trump is screwed because he can’t mention the unmentionable, even though the information hurts him.

I think every Fox evening show has had Carter Page on in the last month or so. I always thought he was plenty smiley, and almost giggly over “being surveilled by Mueller”. Unless HE was the mole and it was all a ruse. I can’t decide who’s more suspicious; Page or Sessions.

My guess - The secret source is Carter Page.
Apparently, the “small group” cabal in the FBI sent Carter Page to the Trump campaign as a setup. Page’s background in Russia, and former contacts with known Russian intelligence operatives, could be used to meet the threshold needed to get a surveillance warrant on him - and therefor two hops out from him (anyone who communicated with anyone who communicated with Page). They likely had Page email key people within the campaign, just to justify their spying on them.
The whole thing was a setup from the very beginning. The purpose was to fix the election - either by discovering some dirt, or by illegally spying on the opposing campaign every day, like Watergate on steroids.
The Mueller investigation, if nothing else, has (corruptly) given Democratic operatives unprecedented forensic detail into every aspect of the Trump campaign, so the Democrats can tailor their attacks during future campaigns - and identify significant Trump supporters for systematic intimidation or destruction.
The FBI and DOJ, like so much of the rest of the Federal Government, was corrupted to partisan political benefit during the Obama Administration.
They are evil, and need to be punished, if we are to preserve rule of law in the USA.
