Eric Schneiderman had a paint-spattered maintenance worker at his swank Upper West Side apartment building run interference Thursday morning as he scurried into a waiting SUV.
The longtime employee, who gave his name as Henry, told The Post he was working inside near the service entrance when the disgraced ex-attorney general begged him for help.
“Henry, will you walk in front of me because the press are out there waiting for me?” Henry recalled Schneiderman saying.

I heard on the car radio today that Cyrus Vance, NY County District Attorney had requested to be named as Special Council in the Schneiderman investigation. How appropriate, because it was Schneiderman who investigated Vance in his failure to prosecute Harvey Weinstein. I found it laughable that Vance had even put his name into the mix. Cuomo rejected the request and went with a female, Nassau District Attorney Madeline Singas. She’s a Democrat, and hasn’t held the office that long.
Just think, a week ago they would’ve all (except Vance) been backslapping him and toasting his good health.
Now they all want a piece of him.

He should have already been arrested for Aggravated Sexual Assault.
ANY REGULAR CITIZEN with these identical allegations against them would be arrested immediately and face a Minimum of $1 Million Dollar bail and an Ankle Monitor.
