“It turns out that when we look at minority communities within the United States there are some endemic problems that occur over and over again and are troubling...”

Like the FACT that they’re RUN by members of the Socialist Democrat Party?

THAT, ‘endemic problem?’

I refuse to believe that dairy foods are a problem for anyone, unless they are lactose intolerant - and then they should be arrested, tried, found guilty and hung - for being intolerant!

“If you look back at governmental policy and the way the government has dealt with minority communities throughout our history, patterns emerge that it becomes apparent can account for a lot of what we see of these endemic problems.”

He said government is the problem? This guy better get out and apologize,

“the guidelines say I have to eat these foods”

Government is obviously her god.
Afterall, that’s the sole purpose of government “schools”.

Pretty sure we’ve had dairy of one sort or another in the human diet since we’re herded livestock. Couple thousand years at least? On all continents. Racist? Whaaaa?

Pure crap. The “food pyramid” is a joke, completely upside down, but it has nothing to do with race. Come to think about it, most things professional aggrieved minorities whine about are not actually race based, but rather require a modicum of personal responsibility.

The government has to tell folks what to eat? This is the problem at the jump.

I’m not any sort of expert, but these allergies etc folks have today never/rarely existed previously. Peanut allergies, lactose intolerance.......???

I like to eat a watermelon per week during the season. I enjoy Fried Chicken, fried okra, Fried Green Tomatoes, succotash, greens, southern style fried potatoes, ham with red-eye gravy, baking powder biscuits, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties, sausage links, and a whole bunch of other Foods that are probably now considered racist. So I guess grits are in there too and lots of other dishes that would probably make the racist food list. I don’t and I won’t apologize for my palate.

Race and ethnicity dominated the majority of Mills’ lecture, though classism was also specifically mentioned, with Mills noting the inequalities in that realm slash across all demographics.

Blah, blah, blah...blah, blah!

Sad to see that a large portion of our population are too stupid to survive peak-culture civilization.

I had a taco for breakfast.

Putting cheddar cheese on them is a whitey thing so maybe that canceled out some of the racism. Also, American raised beef which originated from Asia, India and Africa. American grown romaine lettuce which originates from Cos, Greece. Tomatoes originated from Africa and onions from Asia.

Somehow I find is rather unbelievable that nothing on the face of the Earth originates from North America except white privilege.

Just wait till the SJW's in the USA try to explain the type of food eaten in Japan--much of it derived from northern Chinese food (Chūka) and Japanese-influenced foreign cuisine (Yōshoku). They'll never live it down.
