The libs in Sioux City would not allow it.
It would make their little heads explode.
Granted, that would be fun.

Why not St. Charles, Missouri?
Branson, MO
Nashville, TN
Orange, CA
Holdmel, NJ (PNC Bank Center)

I recommend my adopted hometown of Toadsuck, Arkansas.
Dave just put a new washer in the laundromat.

Don’t forget good ol’ Knoxville, TN. There’s a great Convention Center, and probably enough support venues to get the ball rolling. There was a Trump Rally in Knoxville, I think, early on.

I would avoid Soros-mayor cities, but otherwise, bring in the National Guard (BECAUSE of this “fear”) with live ammo and let the fascists try their best!

Hmm, I actually like that idea and city because it reminds me of DC, with the capitol building across from a big tall obelisk memorial dedicated to the emancipating Union soldiers from Indiana.

Only three cities are even in the running to host the GOP in 2020[...]
Going back to the Reagan era, he said, Republicans considered an average of about three to four bids every four years. The six cities that bid on the convention in 2016, he said, was abnormally high.
So the headline should read, "GOP Has Normal Number of Takers for 2020 Convention." What a scoop.
As a former North Carolinian, I almost find it more newsworthy that Charlotte has a Democrat mayor. That used to be the stepping stone for Republicans who wanted to go on and lose the governor's race.

hold it in freakin’ Peoria or somewhere...it would blow the place apart with all the income that would come with it.

Yep. Leftards will be in full attack mode. Drama will ensue, and everyone on the law and order side will be made to look bad in the national media.
I can see why they are apprehensive.

Either Milwaukee or Chattanooga; lots of nearby hotel space in both places. Also, even though Chat has a Dem mayor, he cares about the city enough that he could see the benefit a GOP convention could bring.

Most of the cities that have turned down the RNC are Democratic cities, said Evan Siegfried, a New York-based Republican strategist. Maybe that is because most cities are democrat cities.

Branson would be a great choice. It is solidly in the conservative Ozarks, has tons of hotel rooms, and leftist thug groups can be easily intercepted by local sheriff departments and state police.

Toadsuck works for me. They have a nice park. There’s a shortage of housing close by. Bentonville, AR would be a wiser choice.
