Finding out too late that you have cancer — thanks to ObamaCareIt's t

Beware: Many breast- and prostate-cancer patients are getting diagnosed late in the game because of ObamaCare’s skimpy cancer-screening regulations.

Remember when President Barack Obama repeatedly told Americans that greedy doctors were over-testing and over-treating them, and federal rules were needed to stop it? Now the evidence is in: Some of those rules are killing us.

Inadequate cancer screening is forcing women to undergo mastectomies and men to endure aggressive treatments with side effects. Many could have avoided these outcomes, as well as an increased risk of death, if they’d been diagnosed earlier.

Last Friday, Dr. Elisa Port, chief of breast surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, presented compelling evidence at the American Society of Breast Surgeons’ annual meeting about the harm done to women because of the Obama administration’s stingy approach to screening.

Starting in the 1980s, American women age 40 and over were advised to get annual mammograms. The result: Women diagnosed with breast cancer had smaller, more treatable tumors after annual mammograms became the standard of care. But in 2009, under Obama, the United States Preventative Services Task Force declared women were getting too many mammograms. The USPSTF changed the recommendation from yearly starting at age 40 to once every two years starting at age 50.

Worse, the Affordable Care Act gave that task force new clout, mandating that insurance companies pay for tests it recommends with no out-of-pocket costs. Not so for other tests. Millions of women were suddenly misled into thinking the USPSTF’s meager new screening schedule was enough. Now the dire consequences are emerging.

This is rich: Proselytizing that getting cancer is a foregone conclusion.

Love it.

Yep, if you live long enough, you’re bound to die of something.

I didn’t consider canceling, but I will do some major investigating before next year’s exam.

I also made peace with my life decades ago so I’m prepared for whatever.

Chemo is a waste of lives and a cash cow for the pharma poison manufacturers.

You know this because of your residency in medical oncology?

I’m one of the victims. Had an enlarged prostate and a PSA of 5.4 in August, 2013. Doctor and insurance company did not offer a biopsy. September, 2014, PSA was 9.4; biopsy revealed Prostate Cancer. Had I had the biopsy when I should have, I would have had surgery and be cured.

Went to M.D. Anderson for further tests. Bone scan showed it had spread to eight spots on my skeleton. I have metastatic prostate cancer and there is no cure. There’s treatment, but I was diagnosed when I was 61. I’ll likely die before I reach 70. In the process of suing the insurance company.

Bull poop. Mammograms are mostly a scam. More women have shortened lives as a result of the over drastic treatments than have longer lives due to early “catching.”

This is how we operate. We use a conservative based health share and pay very little in premiums. Instead, we make our own medical decisions. We choose which doctor and which tests. If you aren’t using insurance, and you find a decent doc who understands you want to be in charge of your own health, and you want test X, he will prescribe it for you. And you pay. Maybe you will get have reimbursed, but even if you don’t, it’s something you want. So you price check different facilities and buy what you want. Like when you buy a tv or a grill. I prefer that to kissing the ass of an insurance company.

.
Your assumption that there is no cure is part of your problem.

There has never been any cures from the Medical industry, because they don’t want the cures that can’t be sold for a half million bucks.

They run the cures off with storm troops and machine guns.

You can still get Metatrol from the Harmony Co. for a while if you want a cure. You can still hold baking soda in your mouth for 10 minutes as many times per day as you can stand.

I know that they’ll run Metatrol off the market as soon as they find a way, just like they did to Skin Answer, but baking soda will be a tough one even for our thug government.

My late father had cancer. I did a lot of research...and one thing I found was Japanese studies on lentinen, the stuff found in Shiitake mushrooms.

Wasting your time!

They don’t want to hear the truth.

They want expensive magic from the quacks, not the simple cures.

The product makes no mention of metastatic prostate cancer. already do 1 tsp of baking soda in a glass of water 3 times per day.

I know. It’s the worst scam, and I have watched two women close to me fall for it and there is nothing I can say. Just hold my breath and offer “support”.
