Leading politicians in Denmark were broadly critical of the announcement on Tuesday by President Donald Trump that the United States would violate the Iran nuclear deal.

In a statement at the White House on Tuesday, Trump said the US would “exit the Iran deal” agreed with other major powers in 2015, and warned that “any nation that helps Iran in its quest for nuclear weapons could be strongly sanctioned”.

The Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), also known as the Iran nuclear deal, was agreed in 2015 between Iran, the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council plus Germany, and the European Union.

Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen tweeted shortly after Trump’s announcement that Denmark “continues to support the Iran deal, contingent on Iran’s strict compliance,” adding the agreement was “important for non-proliferation and regional security.” The PM, who has previously sought to cultivate good relations with Washington, did not mention the United States or Trump directly.

Foreign Minister Anders Samuelsen […] added that Denmark was “not naïve” on Iran. “From a Danish and European point of view, we want to maintain the agreement, provided the IAEA [International Atomic Energy Agency, ed.] verifies Iranian compliance. But we are certainly not naïve when it comes to Iran,” he said. …

The article says Iran agreed to the deal and that’s just mot true. Neither did the USA agree. Obama agreed to it...
In 2015 the Obama Administration Said the Iran Deal Wasn’t Even a ‘Signed https://www.nationalreview.com/corner/iran-nuclear-deal-not-signed-document-not-binding/

The Scandinavian countries are awash in terrorism, brutal rape of their women, over run by Islamic refugees and still they think they have a right to speak. Sounds like they accepted oil from Iran for invasion

As Western Europe sinks into the depths of suicidal decadence, its hapless citizens, blinded by mass hubris and denial, project their madness onto the people of the world of sanity.

It’s very simple. The European nations can trade with the USA. Or they can trade with Iran.

Choose one.

Nothing is stopping Denmark or the rest of them from stepping up to the plate to stop Iran. America shouldn’t have to do these things all on our own.

“There is a rank due to the United States among nations, which will be withheld, if not absolutely lost, by the perception of weakness.”

— George Washington, Fifth Annual Message to Congress, 12/3/1793
After eight years of projecting weakness, the strength is now evident again and prestige is being rebuilt.

Isn’t it about time, after 70+ years, that we let Europe clean up its own messes?

Leaving them alone means they’re free to create bigger messes, and beyond their borders. Remember that whatever domestic crises they have now, they are deliberately engineered to make the people demand solutions, to the point of giving up their freedoms in favor of centralized strong-man leadership; the Eurocrats have always bent things towards that end.
