Now THAT pretty well pegs Kasich. The difference is that Kasich came to his bitterness late in life and, as best as I can tell, McSh*t was bitter and vindictive his whole life.

And Mike DeWine isn’t exactly what I would consider non-establishment or a firebrand. You know Kasich is really far gone when he apparently can’t even back Mike DeWine. Kasich is so warped in the mind that he so desperately wants vindication for how much he despises Trump he literally wants his own party to do poorly in this year’s elections. That’s some serious ego and mental issues - what he claims ails Trump, he has become himself.

I remember when Kasich was pretty rock solid back in the 90s bucking Clinton and fighting for a balanced budget.
Maybe too much time in Washington and fell in with the wrong crowd. He acts like something’s gonna be discovered about him...the “protesteth too much” reaction.

In the 2016 election, Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton 52% to 43% in Ohio.
Ohio is a must-win state. It gets an inordinate amount of media coverage during presidential elections.
So if Donald Trump campaigns for Mike DeWine this year, as he is almost certain to do, his Ohio poll numbers will receive a lift going into the 2020 presidential election, which will demoralize the Democrats.
If John Kasich chooses to join in the big blockbuster Trump/DeWine campaign rallies in Ohio this fall, I’m sure Republicans will be happy. But if he chooses to stay home it won’t matter very much.

Kasich is worried about Jobs Ohio? When the Professional Organizations involved in recruiting people for Trucking, Warehousing, Logistics, etc., invited the Governor to speak at Ohio events, he always declined. The Columbus Logistics Council begged Johnny Boy to speak at their annual meeting, but he could never find the time.
Kasich is a white Maxine Waters. Dumber than a rock.
