The captain of doomed Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 selected a route that would effectively render the plane invisible on radar in order to commit suicide, experts said Sunday.
The suspicion that MH370 Captain Zaharie Ahmad Shah was attempting suicide was agreed upon, aviation experts said in a panel discussion on 9 News Australia.

"He was killing himself; unfortunately, he was killing everybody else on board, and he did it deliberately," Larry Vance, a former senior investigator with the Transportation Safety Board of Canada, said.
Shah somehow managed to cut all communication systems and then dip in and out of Malaysian and Thai airspace and eventually went over his own hometown, Penang, Boeing 777 pilot and instructor Simon Hardy said.
It did the job because we know, as a fact, that the military did not come and intercept the aircraft, Hardy said, adding that he believed someone was in control of the plane until the end.
The experts argued that Shah flew the plane another 115 miles than originally thought, with Vance pointing to the piece of evidence that was recovered on a French island off Africa. Officials had previously said that the theory of the plane nosediving into the water was the likely ending scenario for the airliner.

I agree with their finding.
That explanation makes sense. It’s an explanation that the media has not seen fit to even discuss, until now. If the pilot was a muzzy, then this is the explanation.
whats the point of avoiding radar to commit suicide?
An Egypt Air pilot did this same thing a few years earlier.
Time to ban muslims from piloting commercial aircraft.
Any Muslim should be banned to fly commercial airliner
I’m thinking the same thing. Pointless. If they spotted him, what’s the worst that could happen? They’d fire a missile, blow him out of the sky and spoil all his plans for suicide? Makes no sense.
Stealth was not needed.
—one would have to assume then that he also disabled the co-pilot first-—
He wasn’t just committing suicide, he was engaging in jihad.
200+ infidels went down in that plane.
Me too. I thought from day one, that it was some sort of terrorist attack, but didnt know exactly what kind of terrorist attack, until a bit later.
Maybe he had a target
With regard to US carriers I would support a freeze on the hiring of muslim flight crew in that they are an imminent danger to aircraft and passengers. Also baggage handlers and ground crew, which I suspect are currently all over the place.
It is surprising only that he didn’t fly the plane into a building.
A man in a fishing boat (?If I remember correctly) said he saw it fly overhead and he saw flames in all the windows.
I have speculated that he or the passengers tried to start a fire either to get control of the airplane or to overcome the passengers, but the smoke and flames overcame everyone and the plane just flew until it ran out of gas.
Must be true, if anyone knows about mass killings it is the Muzzies.
In some airports the majority of ground crew and baggage handlers are muslim. Minneapolis and Detroit.
Darn good question.
