oops, my numbers are wrong, but there was a settlement of debt in those amounts - the 8 million, just not full payment of cash to settle?

“Who’s the sugar daddy? “......

Truthfully, I do not know who that might be BUT, I would wager that he/she is connected to the demodummies and/or George Soros in one way or another.

BTW, apparently this guy owes the IRS about $5 million. The entire $8 million (if that’s the real figure) would be subject to income tax at 37%, which would leave him with less than the $5 needed to pay off the IRS. Of course, the details matter, but that wouldn’t get him completely out of hot water, just mostly. See how the evil rich control you...they give you enough to live decently, for a while, and not one penny more.

But IRS will settle this cents on the dollar as he knows, not a problem.

True, but under federal laws, post 9/11, anything over $10k has to be declared and where it came from. No way you can tell the fed’s that you won a lawsuit, the lottery, or got it from your dead uncle. He’s going to have to say where it came from. And if it came from some bogus LLC, or the like, that is no longer in existence, or a blind trust, something like that, he’s going go have to explain some stuff.

Maybe someone more knowledgeable can chime in, but until he says where it came from and that party backs him up, it’s like he’s money laundering.

All from the Post 9/11 banking rules to prevent the funding of terrorism.

I once find a crumpled $10 bill on the street. That's the biggest windfall for me.

Wouldn’t one call the $8M payment to Avenatti a campaign contribution?

Yeah, but he’s probably explaining it to some deep state functionary Lois Learner hire. No problem there.

For now, Yes.

But, it’s all public record, which he seems to be finding out, works both ways and he’s not liking the scrutiny.

And the Treasure IG investigation on him illegally revealing bank records could get interesting.

Be careful what you wish for. He may have some friends in certain places in the government, but he doesn’t have a friend in the White House, like he would have had a couple of years ago. I have a feeling he should be looking for a big, giant bus coming down the road, some time soon.

If they do, then he has a windfall. Not necessarily baked into the cake - he apparently did not pay taxes that he withheld from the paychecks of his employees - that is a BIG, HUGE, no-no. The IRS will generally waive (or greatly lower) penalties if it is your first time, AND if it appears that you weren’t trying to cheat them. Withholding taxes are like a trust fund - and as the “trustee” you are held to a very high standard.

Also, part of bargaining away a huge liability is the lack of resources to pay - but he just got $8 million.
