A decade after the anti-government, anti-tax, and anti-Obama insurgency emerged

I stopped right there. I recall the Taxed Enough Already party started under President Bush, was never anti-government and 0bama was not even a thought.

IIRC Turd Blossom and W were rabid anti-TEA party folks. Soetoro simply finished them off with a corrupt IRS who bankrupted the organizations incrementally, one chapter at a time.

There may have been a lot of us who were early precursors of the TEA Party, but this was the first time I remember the acronym started being used nationally. It was a rant by Rick Santelli on some Chicago trading floor. It really was the first national exposure, the acronym grew to be used by a lot of organizations, and there were national protests for over a year. This was what lit the fire: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APAD7537RN0

This blockhead (the author) doesn’t even know what she’s describing. She’s describing a populist movement, because all Trump supporters know he’s more qualified to run the government than all of the losers in Washington combined.

Awesome. Tea Party is a hope; GOP is mostly dead, others sound asleep. Precious few be able and willing to force DC back into the _chains_ of USConstitution.
