France has never been interested in opposing terrorism. They’ll want to keep the deal no matter how much Iran ignores their end of it.

“France has never been interested in opposing terrorism.”

Since the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris, France has been sending their aircraft carrier, the Charles DeGaulle, to bomb ISIS, only coming back to home port to rearm. It is the only non-American carrier supporting that operation - real bombs, real targets, really part of the team.

When al Queda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM) captured Northern Mali, France handled its liberation without American assistance.

France declared a state of emergency after the Bataclan massacre, and did things that would seem shocking here, shutting down mosques, arresting and deporting extremists.

They still have it worse there, because of the numbers (a greater percentage of France is muslim, than there are African-Americans in the US), but also because of the depth of extremist infiltration there - some families in their third and fourth generation as radicals.
