.Lt. Gov. Brad Little, the state establishments pick, has claimed the Republican nomination in Idahos governors race after a heated and expensive campaign, beating Rep. Raul Labrador, and entrepreneur Tommy Ahlquist.
For months, the three Republicans have been leading the pack in a crowded seven-person primary to succeed Idaho Gov. Butch Otter, a Republican who decided not to seek a fourth term. The candidates poured millions into the gubernatorial primary. Little reported raising more than $1.2 million in the first four months of 2018, loaning himself $800,000, only second to Ahlquist a whopping number in Idaho politics.

That’s disappointing. Another Vichy Republican.
Many conservative in principle, still dont see the difference between Republicans and Conservatives. They think the GOP is the conservative choice and dont bother going to the primaries.
Little might be the establishment pick but he hit Labrador hard on illegal immigration. The young Trumpers Candace Owens and Charlie Kirk supported far and away the more liberal of the three candidates. Longtime democrat who tried to pass himself off as conservative. That Alquist got as many votes as he did tells me a lot of Idaho voters dont know who theyre voting for. He was also never a Trump supporter and of course was a big supporter of Planned Parenthood only a couple years ago.

I’ve always found Raul suspect.
He was a former Immigration Attorney you know!
It’s only Idaho. BTW RINOS are pretty tough law and order types. It’s the spending where they disappoint.
The Cheap Labor Express will not give up on the Bush Plan for North Mexico (aka USA).
He sure beat that congressman like a dog.
“Little might be the establishment pick but he hit Labrador hard on illegal immigration.”
That is THE issue for at least this cycle.
They can throw as much dust in the air as they want, none of it matters.
