LOL. I have a bachelor's degree, a law degree and a masters in law degree, all from national universities, and have practiced business and tax law for 35 years. I also spend a couple of hours a day studying politics. Yet I am too uninformed to vote for Democrats. Makes perfect sense.
Well, they have state U degrees in gender studies, clearly they are much better educated.
By all the standard measures, I “should” be a hardcore Leftist Democrat.
I have two grad degrees. I’ve lived in 4 foreign countries. I speak 3 languages. I work for banks. I know these types. I went to school with them. I see plenty of of them at work. I happen to like classical music and watch overwhelmingly documentaries (mostly BBC). I’m not religious.
So am I one of them? Hell no. And I never will be. I would so much rather hang out with normal regular people. They’re a lot less arrogant, a lot less judgmental, and they tend to be both friendlier and happier people from my experience. I’m a Southerner, am proud to be so and feel no need to apologize to anyone for it. I value my right to bear arms and exercise it. I don’t want the government to “protect” me. I ask for nothing by way of services or handouts....but...I DEMAND to be left alone. That’s it. Yes its really that simple. Don’t try to tell me how to live, don’t try to take away my choices, keep taxes at a reasonable level.
The Leftists just can’t manage to do that.
