Report: John Brennan Worked ‘Pee Dossier’ into Obama’s Daily Briefing, Called Steele ‘Credible Source’ (Full Title)
A new report alleges that former CIA Director John Brennan included claims from the dubious Steele dossier into President Barack Obama’s Presidential Daily Brief — without disclosing the source of the allegations. “Brennan put some of the dossier material into the PDB [presidential daily briefing] for Obama and described it as coming from a ‘credible source,’ which is how they viewed Steele,” a source close to the House probe told Real Clear Investigations reporter Paul Sperry.
“But they never corroborated his sources,” the source added.
The allegations began to reach the PDB after Obama ordered Brennan to produce a report on Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, just one month after President Donald Trump won the White House. In January, both Obama and Trump were briefed on the Intelligence Community’s findings.
Brennan’s actions appear to contradict former DNI chief James Clapper and fired FBI Director James Comey’s claims that details of the dossier were unclassified, despite being a part of the highly classified PDB.
In February, Brennan was ensnared in the House Intelligence Committee Republicans’ investigation into the “origins” of the Steele dossier. The former spy chief was asked to complete a questionnaire concerning his possible role in the sourcing and dissemination of allegations detailed in the unverified dossier.
Brennan testified to Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) in May 2017 that he had “no awareness” that Steele existed.

This is news which was discussed after the Wikileaks drop of her emails. This Tyler fellow who passed away concurrently was considered SB’s source. Good to see this return to centerstage as a topic of concern. Comey, Lynch, Obama, Jarrett wanted to make this go away and it did.
However, just what was this cabal thinking when using unsecured email for discussion of highest level intelligence? Was there a pay to play aspect to it? Or is it one more example of Mrs. C. acting like a Whitey Bulger who considers rules as mere suggestions?
IIRC, Congress supposedly closed this loophole when they reauthorized FISA.

Yes, but it follows that the phrase attributed to McCabe doesn’t fit his psychology at all. But it does fit neatly with the idea that Obama fired Flynn only to see him return as his opposition. Imagine how angry the little man was at that! So I’m suggesting that Obama gave the order which McCabe repeated to the small group. And McCabe is the fall guy for everyone above him. His permanent expression of anger may be at the fact that he knew it and knew he couldn’t win against them. So Trump wasn’t his enemy at all, except politically, but personally those who gave him the order are.

The the version of the “assessment” for the public contained only vague references to actual evidence, like “past Russian behavior.” How convenient, zero accountability.
