"panel members huddled behind closed doors with former intelligence chiefs to discuss their impressions and conclusions. Former Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper Jr., former CIA director John Brennan, and former National Security Agency director Adm. Mike Rogers were in attendance. Former FBI director James B. Comey also was invited."

What is wrong with the Republican Senators? They take the word of Comey, Clapper and Brennan and are unable to think for themselves.

What is Chairman Sen. Richard Burr doing? Nunes and Republican House members have done a great job. Republican Senators have done a terrible job.

Now they just need a little evidence showing that. That’s how it works, right? First you assume, then you find the evidence matching your assumption.

It defies logic and common sense. Trump is wrecking the Russian economy. I don’t believe Putin wanted that.

Last week Trump was given the option to release documents that proved a mole in his campaign, he chose not to ( it might upset the intelligence community), so, today he gets the knife. When you don’t fight back, Donald, they step on you.

“Russia favored Trump in 2016, Senate panel says, breaking with House GOP”

If this is true, where was President Obama and his national security team?

It is time for the former president and other high administrative officials to come clean on why they allowed this to happen and to assure the American people it wasn't just for the purpose of preventing the first woman president.

Hmm ... let's see here ...

- Trump reversing the 8-yr decline of the US military (not in Russia's interest)
- Trump ending crippling regulations on domestic energy production (not in Russia's interest)
- Trump improving relations with our allies (not Russia's interest)

These are things Trump promised during his campaign. Were the Russians not paying attention?

Had the Hildabeast won ...

- US military continuing in decline (in Russia's interest)
- Regulations on domestic energy production tightened to the point of bankrupting entire industries (in Russia's interest)
- Worsening relations with allies, and continued appeasement of rivals and enemies (in Russia's interest).

So, again, why are these idiots trying to sell us on a theory that Putin & Co. were trying to throw the election to Trump, when clearly a Hildabeast victory would have served Russia's interest?

Inquiring minds want to know ...

There was a thread a few days back that showed the Russian Facebook ads... they were lame.

I figured they would be - based on the fact the New York Times and Washington Post didn’t front page ‘em... but they’re worse than I ever imagined. I doubt the Russian ‘ads’ changed one vote.

“Our staff concluded that the [intelligence community’s] conclusions were accurate and on point...”

In other words, the Deep State says they favored Trump. Who’s surprised?

I see Burr was shown his Balls again as Warner was writting his report.

EVERYONE in Washington knows this committee is run By Warner and both Burr and Warner want Trumps head.

That is why ALL the other committees investigating the russia crap refuse to share information with them.

“What is wrong with the Republican Senators?”

They don’t like Trump, and many likely are upset that he’s doing well. Politics is the easiest venue in which untalented narcissists can fulfill their need to ‘be special’. Trump threatens their stature, and stature is much more important to them than any political ideology. It’s the same reason so many ‘communists’ from the USSR became fans of democracy and reform after the fall of the Soviet Union. They just wanted to keep their gig.

Leaders of countries tend to like as much certainty as possibly from foreigners they have to deal with.

The Russians knew that hillary was a two-faced liar ready to go back on deals almost as soon as they were made to her own benefit.

Dealing with a tough opponent which you can trust their motives and actions is quite valuable when you have to make your own plans and apply your own limited resources.

America chose Trump, so why is it so amazing the Russians did also.
