some see the dragon as Satan working his evil on the world through pagan religions,
and the ‘beast’ as Satan working his evil on the world through corrupted Christian churches (I won’t dare suggest which ones, take your pick? ha!) ...
so ... we can take your choice I guess, ha, but the message (according to this interpretation) is that we’re getting it (from Satan) from both ends
