In any dealing with NK, one should always assume the worst case. The history of the Kim regime consists of one lie and deception after another. The odds are 99-1 they’ll lie, cheat and steal to maintain their nuclear arsenal.

It sounds like the nuclear testing site became unstable.

So they are abandoning that as their testing site. And they may not have another suitable site. In which case they may have to abandon testing altogether.

That’s not to say they are abandoning their arsenal.

They may all or part of their arsenal up for negotiation to get relief from sanctions. And by that I mean, they may keep some of their arsenal while pretending to give it all up.

Trust but verify as opposed to the libtardism of trust even though they know they are lying.

Every component or document that inspectors seek to account for in the future will have been “lost in the fire”, “eaten by the dog”, “lost in a tragic boating accident”, or “buried in the tunnel collapse (now too contaminated to excavate)”.

It sounds like the nuclear testing site became unstable.

Believe I read that Chinese geologists said it was collapsing already, so "closing" it may be a meaningless gesture.
