It’s Memphis and based on a local video and a lack of suspect descriptions, it’s most likely black on black crime.
My wife works in the medical field and had a friend who was a particular specialist in nursing and she was sent by that hospital corporation to Memphis to train their staff for three or four weeks at one of their premier hospitals.
When she got there the hospital staff had made her reservations at a nice hotel but the training required her to train the staff on various shifts, so she might actually be going in to train in the evening and getting off at dawn part of the time. The hotel security officer told her day one, I don’t care what time it is, when you leave you call us and we will escort you to your vehicle, when you are close to the hotel you call us and we will meet you in the parking lot DO NOT forget this, do it and it was a rather upscale hotel.
The hospital was essentially the same way when she got there, she was met and escorted by their security. And specifically told to not deviate from your route ever. Well one evening she took a wrong turn and got lost and she called the hospital and they told her stay in your car and stay in well lite area, the police are coming and they will call you in a minute and sure enough within a couple of minutes they called and told her don’t move unless you feel threatened and in a couple of more minutes they showed up and didn’t get out, just rolled window down and said follow us, stay close. She couldn’t wait to get out of this man made hell and back to the country.
