They make it sound like an “honest” mistake, didn’t take the time to fact check, etc. Baloney. They knew what he said and wanted that meme out there first, before there was any real reporting. They did NOT care if it was true or not, it was what they wanted.
I was just reading comments about Trump’s comment on Facebook. One libiot said he called all immigrants animals. One person responded with the actual conversation, and she still refused to admit that Trump was referring to MS-13ers. He called that libiot some choice names.

Worth repeating. In my 55 years I have never had cable and almost 20 of those years without a TV of any sort. It's a better way to live IMO and is certainly better for the culture.
