Shortened title.

Full title: ANOTHER MUELLER GAFFE: Lawyers Defending Russian Firm Tell Court Named Employees DON’T WORK FOR THEM – Mueller MADE IT UP

What a Sideshow — The Mueller Case Is Falling Apart

Lawyers defending the Russian company Concord Management indicted by the corrupt Mueller team again called out Mueller’s liberal hacks and labeled their allegations as “made up” nonsense.

As reported on Wednesday, Concord Management’s lawyers revealed that Mueller’s team of ignored over 70 discovery requests they had made for information before the case. In response Mueller’s team offered to give Concord Management’s lawyers a massive amount of social media data from those dangerous trolls (jk) who sought to influence the US election and the majority of it was in RUSSIAN.

Mueller’s lawyers then admitted that they don’t even have English translations for the Russian social media posts. So Mueller’s lawyers don’t have English translations to the Russian social media posts but we’re supposed to believe we were influenced by these posts?

Prosecutors and judges have absolute immunity, with the only caveat being the "wrong" is within the conduct of their job. It's one of the reasons investigators and prosecutors are separated, even though are in the executive branch. Prosecutors take as true, allegations from investigators and witnesses.

There is such a thing as prosecutorial misconduct, but the remedy for that is civil (money damages to the defendant) and reversing of any conviction. The prosecutor walks.

IIRC, Nifong got in trouble because he knowingly elicited and advanced false testimony. IOW, he played investigator too.

I hope this judge moves to disbar these people. There is no excuse for this

-- who signed the charging documents muellewr or one of his hired guns? --

This particular indictment was signed by Mueller personally.

If they are making stuff up and submitting it to the court as evidence in the case, then they are committing, Perjury. All statements, reports, affidavits, testimony is considered, sworn, under penalty of perjury.

They should be charged accordingly, disbarred and prosecuted. The fact that Concord’s lawyers or the judge hasn’t addressed this is telling, IMHO. The defense wants the case dropped but they’re not willing to take out Team Mueller, completely. If they went after them for, perjury, then every aspect of the case would be called into question, as it all derives from when Rosenstein appointed Mueller.

Trump should be following the advice of Napoleon:
“Never do what your enemy desires, for this reason alone......that he desires it”.

Heh....nails it.

Not to mention Machiavelli's advice on how to handle one's enemies......."crush them."

The question which IMO needs to be asked constantly is,

Why in the world would the Russians prefer Trump over Hillary?

With Hillary they would have gotten an easily manipulable pompous airhead who hates American exceptionalism & places symbolism over substance.

With Trump they are forced to deal with an experienced & tough minded executive who puts America first, regards Russia with suspicion, and has already racked up foreign policy achievements.

So....we are to believe that the Russians skewed the American electoral process to insure a Trump victory? Please....

I see no point in asking any defensive questions. The "Russian collusion" contingent is ridiculous and obviously operating in bad faith.

Time to go on the offense and accuse them. At least when we do so, it is an honest accusation.

I think there are ways to compensate for prosecutorial misconduct and Mueller appears to be guilty of it.

Vexatious, frivolous, or bad faith prosecution:

Hyde Amendment

1997

The Hyde Amendment is a federal statute allowing federal courts to award attorneys’ fees and court costs to criminal defendants “where the court finds that the position of the United States was ‘vexatious, frivolous, or in bad faith.’” In such cases, the federal court may allow victims to recover some of the costs they incurred in fighting the government’s investigation and prosecution by authorizing an award of attorneys’ fees and court costs to a criminal defendant when the prosecution’s evidence is so baseless as to be “frivolous.” Compensation awarded under this statute would come out of the budget of the specific federal agency involved, typically the United States Attorney’s Office.

Wrongful or malicious prosecution:

Prosecutors can be criminally charged with perjury and other crimes.

“The right judge will rule that the Russians, not being US Citizens, have no standing for judicial rules of evidence.”

The 14th Amendment makes no such distinction.

How Broad Is Prosecutorial Immunity? - SCOTUSblog

Yes, of course prosecutors can be charged with crimes. Murder, criminal recklessness when driving, DUI, and so on. They aren't kings or have diplomatic immunity.

But for thier JOB, then can DO as wrong as can be, they can commit perjury, they can lie, and for that they have absolute immunity.

In their brief on the merits, the prosecutors characterize the substantive due process claim raised by McGhee and Harrington as a "right not to be framed" "" a right, they emphasize, that the Court has never recognized.

Case was settled before SCOTUS decided.
