In the real world, sessions is ineffective and rosenstein is a backstabbing weasel. Of course they should be fired.

In the swamp they are instant heroes of the republic. Everyone, including little chucky schumer will like and defend them.

“My guess is that DiGenova talks to the President”

Second paragraph:

The attorney is still in contact with Trump, and told Carr that “the president has had it up to his scuppers with these clowns.”

#17: "Levin was the leader of the Never Trumpers"

Levin was almost deranged during the primaries, but he came around for the election. Since the election, Levin has been solidly in President Trump's corner.

We are at war for the survival of our country. Levin is on our side, and we should not be nursing old wounds. Levin is a patriot and stands with the President.

Joe DiGenova has distilled the arguments many of us Freepers have been making for some time.

Sessions should have tendered his resignation as soon as he realized he was ethically unable to investigate anything having to do with the 2016 election.

By remaining on the job in such a crippled state, he virtually green lighted the attempted coup against the President.

It’s not too late for him to do the honorable thing and resign for the good of the country.

Those guys in place are working hard to kill a November win. In consult with Paul Ryan. Who is 2nd in line, if they discredit the election of Trump/Pence?

The way Levin bludgeoned him in the primary, early Presidency, not sure that would happen?? Who know??
One thing I do know-—FIRING Sessions and Rosenstein should have happened a long time ago!

Sessions and tits on boars. Never thought I’d get there, but he doesn’t seem to weigh in on ANYTHING except an occasional blurb about opposing illegal immigration.

Of course they deserve to be fired...and prosecuted. But firing either of them would guarantee impeachment regardless of who controls the House.

[ To keep people like you and me in line. ]

Exactly. It’s not like we’re with Obama or Hillary.

They can commit crimes with no consequences.

Paul Ryan would lead the impeachment. I’m certain. Paul Ryan wanted to be potus.

The problem with firing Sessions is the US Senate. Same with Rosenstein.

In all honestly, Trump has shown incredible restraint by not firing these guys, but at this point why would he hand Democrats, MediaMatters, OFA, and the corrupt MSM, exactly what they are panting for? They would absolutely destroy Trump, not fairly, but they would transform such an event into the absolute rallying cry.

This would be their steady drumbeat from the time of the event until 11/6.

Throw in a couple of induced racial riots, toss in a pink-hatted Sandra Fluke (anti-woman) type, add a touch of Boss Hogg, maybe scare up the seniors for good measure, and suddenly you got the whole band back together to turn the elections without one word about what Democrats would do, policy-wise.

These people must go... but at the right time.

“But firing either of them would guarantee impeachment regardless of who controls the House.”

Letting the Sessions-rosenstein-mueller coup continue will guarantee impeachment, too. Only they will present a long laundry list of ‘crimes’ and ‘obstruction of justice’ in which to give congressmen cover in which to impeach.

Why give the congressmen a fig leaf in which to impeach?
The DOJ should have been gutted a year ago.

Bannon, Preibus, Sessions himself.

The Sessions pick has been a disaster. Lost a senate seat, lost the chance to fight in these court challenges which the Trump team has been terrible at, and handed the Russia collusion coup into the hands of the coup itself.

So, I agree with you.

Hold fire until after the election, Mr. President,

What is the reasoning for waiting til then?

Six months is a lifetime in politics and war. Any and all strategic advantage Trump currently has, could be lost by then.

“The problem with firing Sessions is the US Senate. Same with Rosenstein.”

I would rather have NO DOJ than a corrupt DOJ loyal to the left.

Everyone there needs to be fired.
