How that criminal referral going?
No charges and there never will be, because it wasn’t ‘exactly’ a criminal referral was it? Was it not more or less a statement that McCabe had lied under oath on 2 occasions to the FBI?
That isn’t exactly a referral, it’s more of statement of fact that a crime ‘was’ committed, but with no real recommendation that the crime be prosecuted.
In fact, the IG made a criminal referral to the US Attorney for D.C.
I expect she has been told to take no action on the referral until the next two IG reports are published. My hope is that Huber is coordinating with the US Attorney for D.C.
As I have stated on other threads, the next IG report is the one to watch.
