Navarro says he submitted Halper’s name for the Asian ambassadorship — we have not been able to confirm the country — along with around a dozen other people for roles in the region.”
I do not trust Peter Navarro. He has run for election to multiple offices in San Diego County. He ran for mayor of San Diego. He ran for congress. He ran for San Diego City Council. He lost all of those elections. He ran as a liberal against moderate Republicans. He wasted his mother’s money running all of those campaigns. Also, the guy was a carptet bagger. He did not even live in San Diego County. He lived in Orange County.

I think Navarro is a crank economist, but I don’t believe he is a spy for the Democrats.
The real story is they tried to get a spy into Trump admin. Which means they probably did.
