Including in the defense and protection of ones self and country. Not seeing the problem. Civilians should have access to "reasonable" protection tools and not just the ones the gun-grabbing left wants to allow. That choice is above their pay grade; it belongs to us.

Awesome! Senator Murphy, you've inspired me. I support the real 1st Amendment, not the imaginary 1st Amendment. And the #1A isn't absolute. It allows Congress to wake up to reality and ban the media from publishing and broadcasting the names of school shooters because that results in copycats who do more killing. How'd I do?

Yep, when the Constitution says that the right of the people to bear arms shall not be infringed, that obviously means that the right of the people to bear arms shall be infringed.

I’m thinking a 1250 question exam along with a 150 page dissertation on the meaning and history behind the American Revolution and the US Constitution should be required to be a federal elected official.
