s Trump won primary after primary in 2016, a rattled John Brennan started claiming to colleagues at the CIA that Estonia’s intelligence agency had alerted him to an intercepted phone call suggesting Putin was pouring money into the Trump campaign. The tip was bogus, but Brennan bit on it with opportunistic relish.
Out of Brennan’s alarmist chatter about the bogus tip came an extraordinary leak to the BBC: that Brennan had used it, along with later half-baked tips from British intelligence, as the justification to form a multi-agency spy operation (given the Orwellian designation of an “inter-agency taskforce”) on the Trump campaign, which he was running right out of CIA headquarters.
The CIA was furious about the leak, but never denied the BBC’s story. To Congress earlier this year, Brennan acknowledged the existence of the group, but cast his role in it as the mere conduit of tips about Trump-Russia collusion: “It was well beyond my mandate as director of CIA to follow on any of those leads that involved U.S. persons. But I made sure that anything that was involving U.S. persons, including anything involving the individuals involved in the Trump campaign, was shared with the bureau.”
But if his role had truly been passive, the “inter-agency taskforce” wouldn’t have been meeting at CIA headquarters. By keeping its discussions at Langley, Brennan could keep his finger wedged in the pie.

We're beginning to resemble the period where the Roman republic crumbled and became the Empire. The Senate and the courts used the power of the law to punish and ruin political opponents. That ended up backfiring when they convicted Caesar in absentia while he was away in Gual. He had an army and wasn't open to living in exile as a hunted man. So he took that army and conquered Rome. And thus fell the republic.
When we criminalize political differences and look the other way when the power of the state is used to crush others for fake crimes, we're heading the same way.

Brennan attempted to overthrow the duly elected POTUS, and to subvert the 2016 Presidential Election. Since this involved foreigners and foreign intelligence assets, it rises to the level of treason.

(1) collect intelligence through human sources and by other appropriate means, except that the Director of the Central Intelligence Agency shall have no police, subpoena, or law enforcement powers or internal security functions...
Last time I read the Constitution, the CIA director had no role in determine who will be President.
[ Amazing how not one reporter at CNN, MSNBC or the other main stations have investigated this. ]
If any of them have wanted to, they know:
1) It will never air on the liberal media
2) They’ll be out of a job pronto
3) They’ve no doubt seen how many anti-Clinton folks have mysteriously dropped dead

I watched that one about 5-6 months ago.
Amazing how much even that show was much, much better than the garbage on TV these days.
Brennan has a beef against WikiLeaks (read here: https://www.thedailybeast.com/wikileaks-doxxes-cia-chiefs-wife-and-daughters).
WikiLeaks posted all the DNC emails which hurt Hillary and helped Trump. For Brennan, WikiLeaks is personal. It is driving some of his anger towards Trump.
Im sure they are working on a Lennin size staue of him to be placed just outside the entrance to Langely.
