I would be willing to bet that your local elementary school does not feature bear proof trash containers in the playground and that the dog park in your neighborhood does not have signs warning users to watch for bears. How many of your neighbors have lost pets to wolves I wonder? Has the school bus driver ever warned of a wolf kill near a bus stop?
This is Alaska. I don’t care where you live in the lower 48. It’s different here.
